Come to Axis and talk with me about a great book. The meetings will be at the café at Axis. With the reading done at home, we'll be free to exchange ideas & thoughts that pop up in our minds as we read.
Too much light (2nd image is colour corrected) so not really successful but some potential to be further examined.
Will I do this?
A long period of moving and setting up a studio and being confused and researching and looking for ways and methods, followed by a shorter period of nothing working in the studio, finally some small wins that should allow me to start a new step forward with this project.
A few moments from William O’Neill’s Luminous Gatherings at Kevin Kavanagh.
A bit of Albrecht Dürer at Chester Beatty.

The Hollywood Forest Story : An EcoSocial Art Practice | Co. Carlow Ireland

Since 2008, The Hollywood Forest Story tells how new-to-Ireland continuous cover forestry is transforming a small conifer plantation into a permanent, mixed species forest. Its one new story for Earthly wellbeing. Its also a story of the social power of ecosocial art practice to foster ecoliteracy and agency for creative practitioners and their audiences. Such work contributes an 'ecological turn' for an eduring wiser, compassionate and more beautiful world.
